Anesthesia is always a concern for owners. While
there is no way to completely eliminate the risk
of anesthesia, we reduce the risk significantly
by providing comprehensive monitoring for all
of our anesthetized patients. Every anesthetized
patient has an intravenous catheter, and is given
intravenous fluids during anesthesia. In addition,
every patient is monitored by a pulse-oximeter
(pulse and blood oxygen saturation monitor), a
respiratory monitor, and a blood pressure monitor.
Most patients are also monitored by EKG.
We also provide a comprehensive pain management
program, based on each animals individual needs.
There is no need for unnecessary pain, any more.
